HSA BREAKS GROUND FOR PARK 94 AT MT. PLEASANT IN SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN

On Tuesday, September 23, Chicago-based HSA Commercial Real Estate broke ground on two new industrial facilities totaling 565,200 square feet in Park 94 at Mt. Pleasant, a 90-acre business park along Interstate 94 in Southeast Wisconsin’s Racine County.
The new facilities include one of the first LEED-certified warehouses in the region and constitute the first phase of HSA’s new industrial park, which is slated to include seven or more buildings. The official groundbreaking ceremony was attended by local and state dignitaries, HSA executives and representatives from various contractors working on the project.
The facilities include a LEED Certified 323,610-square-foot divisible warehouse, expandable to 664,610 square feet, with 30’ clear-height ceilings, 40 docks, four drive-in doors, and a 151-car, 80-trailer expandable parking area. Also underway is a 125,000-square-foot divisible facility with 30’ clear-height ceilings, 21 docks, two drive-in doors, and 155-car parking.

HSA Commercial Real Estate is the developer of Park 94 at Mt. Pleasant. David Bercu and David Liebman of Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler are leasing representatives for the park. Berghammer Construction is general contractor. Jack Shaffer, HSA Chairman, and John Mangel, HSA Vice President of Development/Acquisitions, spearheaded the team that located and negotiated acquisition of the land parcel in 2007.
