Bob Smietana, Vice Chairman and CEO of HSA Commercial, will be a panel speaker at BISNOW’s 4th annual State of the Market event this October. Bob will be a featured member of the Chicago panel discussion and will be joined by other distinguished real estate experts at the event including John Murphy of MB Real Estate, Bill Krouch of Jones Lang LaSalle, and Jack Durburg of CBRE.

According to BISNOW, the State of the Market event is designed to bring together the “top real estate figures in Chicago and across the country” to review current real estate trends and to discuss anticipated changes in market conditions in the next 12 months.

Bob has completed over 75 building developments comprising over 20,000,000 square feet valued at $2 billion. Bob’s diverse development experience, which began in 1978 as an architect, includes industrial buildings, shopping centers, hotels, suburban and high-rise urban office skyscrapers, senior housing and medical office buildings. His national experience has included all phases of real estate responsibility including land acquisitions, entitlements, design development, financing, construction management operations, property and asset management and brokerage.
