In the October 2013 edition of Real Estate Forum Magazine, the publication recognized HSA PrimeCare president John Wilson on its national list of Health Care Real Estate Pioneers. The article, which includes 16 total honorees, acknowledged John Wilson for having been at the forefront of health care real estate development and investment over the course of the sector’s fast-growing history throughout the past 20 years.
In 1995, John created a health care real estate advisory initiative which has grown into HSA PrimeCare. John oversees the growth of this group, which has served clients such as Advocate / Good Samaritan Hospital, Christ Medical Center, Lutheran General Hospital, University of Chicago Hospitals, Silver Cross Hospital, Children’s Memorial Hospital, Franciscan Alliance, Ingalls Health System, and Loyola Medical Center, to name a few. The group has quickly grown its portfolio of developed and purchased properties to over 20-plus health care facilities, and now manages medical properties totaling over 1 million square feet across the Midwest and Florida.
Having been in the industry more than 30 years, Wilson is one of Chicago’s most respected commercial real estate leaders and has been successful in all aspects of the industry including tenant representation, property management, real estate development, land transactions and owner representation. Wilson has negotiated hundreds of real estate transactions valued in excess of $1 billion.
