Friday, in honor of National Wear Red Day the HSAwareness team encouraged employees to wear red and help spread awareness on the risk of heart attack and stroke. For every participating team member, HSA pledged to donate $25 to the American Heart Association, motivating company-wide support. Friday morning, the corporate Chicago office flooded with red, and HSA SVP Josephine Thomas-Hoytt, who led the initiative, received selfies and group photos from team members at HSA remote offices in Brookfield and Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
HSAwareness saw participation from over half of its team, raising $750.00 for the American Heart Association, which the firm plans to donate in honor of a beloved colleague, who is valiantly recovering from a recent stroke.
HSA would like to sincerely thank all who participated in this year’s Go Red initiative, and remind everyone to know your numbers! Click here to make your own contribution to the American Heart Association.
