HSA Commercial’s Brenton Schrader was recognized this year as Top Retail Leasing Broker in the Chicago market by CoStar Group, a leading commercial real estate data provider. The CoStar Power Broker Awards recognize distinguished professionals in commercial real estate brokerage by highlighting the achievements of the individual brokers who closed the highest transaction volumes in commercial property leases in 2015 within their respective markets.

Brokering deals totaling 118,765 SF, Schrader was very active in landlord representation and shopping center leasing in 2015. His transactions at Calhoun Crossing Shopping Center in Brookfield, Wis., include leases with Total Wine & More, DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, Men’s Warehouse, and Kessler’s Diamond Center. Representing the Mayfair Collection, he brokered deals that brought Off Aisle by Kohl’s, J. Crew Mercantile, Versona Accessories, Carhartt, and Verlo Mattress to the popular Wauwatosa, Wis. shopping center. Schrader also represented multiple third party clients, including Jewel-Osco, US Bank, Domus Group, Shamrock Company, and the Village of Orland Park.
