As part of the organization’s fall book drive, HSAwareness donated 128 books to the library of Gillespie Technology Magnet Cluster School, a Chicago Public School located in the city’s West Chesterfield neighborhood.

Throughout the month of September, HSA’s Josephine Thomas-Hoytt and Olivia Wirth helped collect or purchase new and gently-used, hardcover children’s books for kindergarten through 2nd grade readers. The majority of the 128 books that were donated will be placed in the school’s library, while other paperbacks and used books will be sent home with students.

HSAwareness is sincerely grateful to all of our team members and friends that contributed to the fall book drive as well as our previous school supply and holiday toy drives. We look forward to working together on future outreach endeavors!
